Private Practice Primer Seminar:
4 Hours of Continuing Education
Starting a private practice is the dream, but the reality is often disappointing. Too many private practices close because of deficits in business management, poor boundaries leading to burnout, or ethical and legal issues. Whether you are newly graduated or are a professional counselor in private practice, this seminar covering the steps to opening and operating a professional counseling practice is for you.
Participants will:

• Execute a basic business plan
• Determine if their practice follows the LPC and/or LMFT code
• Understand cash flow and the pros and cons of third party billing
• Outline a marketing strategy

The seminar will also include dinner with a panel of professionals who will answer your toughest questions about opening and operating a private practice.
