We are proud to provide quality continuing education (CEU) programs for mental health professionals including licensed professional counselors, licensed marriage and family therapists, social workers, and psychologists in the state of Texas. Our seminars are designed to provide the licensed healthcare professional with the opportunity for professional growth and refinement. We offer the opportunity for the behavioral health or chemical dependency practitioner to earn the Continuing Education Units (CEU) hours needed to maintain licensure.

Please check with your state regulatory board if you are unsure about CEU Credit. We are pre-approved by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors (LPC) and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Social Workers to provide CEU credit. SUPERVISOR TRAINING SEMINARS
Each supervisor training seminar fulfills the 40 hour requirement to become a LMFT or LPC supervisor in Texas.
CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR SUPERVISORS
This course also fulfills the 3 hour continuing education requirement for LPC and LMFT supervisors. Simply download the syllabus, choose the module you wish to take, and submit the registration form and payment. An instructor will contact you with the day and time your module is offered.

Fee for the entire course (includes both weekends) must be paid before the first class day. Cancellations before the first class will result in forfeiture of ½ of the course fee. There will be no refunds after the start of the first class day.
PRIVATE PRACTICE PRIMER:
OPEN FOR REGISTRATION
Starting a private practice is the dream, but the reality is often disappointing. Too many private practices close because of deficits in business management, poor boundaries leading to burnout, or ethical and legal issues. Whether you are newly graduated or are a professional counselor in private practice, this seminar covering the steps to opening and operating a professional counseling practice is for you.
Participants will
- Execute a basic business plan
- Determine if their future practice follows the LPC and/or LMFT code
- Understand cash flow and the pros and cons of third party billing
- Outline a marketing strategy
- Explore the impact of mental health parity and health care reform on private practice
The seminar will also include lunch with a panel of professionals who will answer your toughest questions about opening and operating a private practice.

10:00 - 11:00 Cash Flow and the Pros and Cons of Third Party Billing

1:00 - 2:00 Marketing 101
2:00 - 5:00 Execute a basic business plan that follows the LPC and LMFT code of ethics (counts for 3 hours of continuing education - professional orientation and ethics)
